Louie Anderson Wins The Emmy For Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series For His Role As A Woman!

What a drag!

Louie Anderson has beaten the odds to win Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series at the 2016 Emmys!

The comic took the gold for his role in the FX show Baskets, in which he plays the mother of Zach Galifianakis.

Yep, you heard that right!

And the tough mother beat out some big, strong men for the honor: Andre Braugher for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Keegan-Michael Key for Key & Peele, Ty Burrell for Modern Family, Tituss Burgess for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Tony Hale AND Matt Walsh from Veep!

Ch-ch-check out Louie"s acceptance speech to see his sweet tribute to his own mother (above)!
